These centers aim to empower women by recognizing and nurturing their skills, fostering self-
         sufficiency  and  economic  independence  within  these  communities.  This  forward-thinking  effort
         reflects a commitment to women's empowerment and the belief in the transformative impact of
         recognizing and supporting their capabilities.
































                                       Handloom training under Project Kiran



         One such initiative of SAIL, 'Stitching Success: Usha's TCPC Program Empowers Women Through Skill,
         Collaboration, and Entrepreneurship', embodies this belief. It's a story of transformation, resilience, and
         hope, echoing across the rural landscape. SAIL-Rourkela Steel Plant’s Usha Training Cum Production
         Centre (TCPC) program empowers

         tribal  women  through  skill,
         collaboration and entrepreneurship.
         In  collaboration  with  NGO  Gram
         Uthaan,  SAIL  initiated  this  CSR
         project  conducted  by  a  certified
         trainer from Usha-Silai to empower
         women  from  economically  and
         socially  disadvantaged  backgrounds
         through a ten-day training program.

         The  training  center  now  known  as
         ‘Anokhi’  is  equipped  with  industrial
         and semi-industrial sewing machines,
         along  with  tailoring  tools  and
