Particulars of recipients of concessions, permits, authorizations granted by BSP
As a commercial organization functioning in a fiercely competitive market, BhilaiSteel Plant does not generally provide any concessions or permits which may result in lesser financial inflow to the organization. As an exception, relating to the corporate responsibility of a PSU, the Materials Management Department provides concessions of the following nature :-
Giving Purchase Preference to Public Sector/Government Undertakings/Units registered as local MSME Unit as per relevant Government Guidelines on the subject.
Exempting Government Undertakings / Registered Vendors of Steel Authority of India Limited - Bhilai Steel Plant and Registered Vendors of other SAIL Units from submission of Earnest Money Deposit in Purchase Tenders.
Procurement of some items on Single Tender Basis from Sister Units and SAIL Subsidiaries, Public Sector / Government Undertakings.
