The powers and duties of officers and employees

The Executive Director heads the unit. Under the Executive Director (EMD) the officers and employees of Environment Management Division perform their duties. There is a Delegation of Powers sub-delegated to Executive Director (EMD) by the Director (Technical, Project & Raw Materials), SAIL for discharging his duties head of unit. For smooth functioning of the Division, the Executive Director (EMD) has also sub-delegates his powers to the officers of Environment Management Division, who directly report to him.
