The Journey of Hope and Education

In the heart of Saranda forest lies Karampada village, where my journey began. I'm Manoj
Angaria, and my story unfolds at a humble hostel that became my sanctuary.
In 2017, as a shy seventh-grader, even introducing myself felt daunting. But in SAIL’s Saranda
Suwan Chhatrawas, I found more than just a place to stay; I found a lifeline.

Today, I pursue a BA degree at St Augustine’s College, West
Singhbhum in Jharkhand, a testament to the profound change
education has brought into my life. Growing up poor, continuing my
education seemed impossible. But SAIL’s Saranda Suwan
Chhatrawas, nestled in township of Kiriburu Iron Ore Mines,

became our beacon of hope. Education has opened up opportunities
I never thought possible. Established in 2009, this Chhatrawas is more
than just a residential facility; it's a lifeline for remote villages like mine, ensuring students
             are educated and nurtured.

My journey is a testament to the transformative power of education and the vital role played
by SAIL’s Saranda Suwan Chhatrawas, illuminating the path to a brighter future for remote
             villages.
