SAIL - Bokaro Steel Plant’s
(BSL) Bokaro Steel Kalyan
Vidyalaya, Sector-3D is a
talk of the town with its
interesting appearance.
Apart from giving free
education, we also believe
in creating a holistic
environment for studies.
The school classrooms are
painted to resemble train
bogies which makes the
entire learning experience
much more fun.

This along with Bokaro Steel Balika
Vidyalaya, Sector - 9B are being run
since 2008 and has provided education
to hundreds of children living in the
periphery. The Bokoro Mahila Samiti
also runs two other schools which are
supported under SAIL CSR. The
students are provided free education
along with free books, uniform,
stationary and mid-day meals.

The 'SAIL Kanya Shiksha Niketan' exclusively for the BPL girl children from township and its
peripheral villages of Durgapur Steel Plant is another example of such SAIL run school where along
with quality education, uniforms, school kits and mid-day meals etc. are provided to the children
studying here.
